Brad SpenceFounder and Executive Director
Two-time Olympian Brad Spence is motivated to give back to the community and inspire the next generation. Brad holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree from Royal Roads University where he graduated with honours with distinction.
Michelle grew up as a competitive gymnast, and later on spent time coaching the next wave of young athletes. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Victoria, and currently fills her days as a Management Consultant.
Graham DawChairman and Treasurer
Graham holds a BA in Economics, as well as, the CFA designation. He is employed in Calgary’s midstream oil & gas industry as a Financial Analyst.
Laura DoneyCorporate Secretary
Laura holds a BA in Psych, BEd, and a Master’s in Counselling Psych. She works as a counsellor in Calgary and delivers Mental Health community education programs.
Jeff is a Partner at Boast Capital. Prior to joining Boast Capital, Jeff competed as an Olympic athlete for in the sport of luge. He raced in the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics.

Helmets for Heroes Website
At Helmets for Heroes, we use art therapy to help children battling illness cope and heal.
Our projects not only strengthen community, they raise funds and create awareness for charities.
Sam Edney wears the striking specially-designed helmet fashioned into a bear image — created by 19-year-old Flamenco and local artist Kelsey Fraser — for this one World Cup stop, at home, before it’s auctioned off to raise funds for the Children’s Hospital.
